David Choe Mural Painted Over in Hawaii Due to Complaints
Graffiti artist David Choe went on a Hawaiian vacation to get away from his mainland notoriety but instead learned a lesson in humility.
With the blessing of a Harley Davidson dealership, Choe spray-painted an elaborate and striking mural on a wall surrounding the dealership with the intention of donating his art to the public. Choe was reportedly visiting Hawaii’s Big Island in order to take a “healing vacation after going through a dark period on the mainland,” according to Hawaii News Now.
